Tay Ninh tourism strives to become a key economic sector

TITC) - This is one of the important goals for tourism development in the Master plan for “Tay Ninh tourism development until 2020 and vision to 2030” approved by Tay Ninh provincial People’s Council in Resolution No.29/2013/NQ-HDND dated August 29, 2013.

The Plan aims to develop Tay Ninh tourism into the province’s key economic sector, contributing to improving provincial economic structure, raising the quality of tourism products and the province’s competitiveness; and also aims to protect resources and environment and preserve cultural identity…

Tay Ninh tourism industry sets the target to welcome 1.6 million over-night tourist arrivals and 3.2 million same-day visitor arrivals in 2015; 2.2 million and 4.1 million in 2020; 4 million and 6.1 million in 2030, respectively.

Ecotourism, spiritual tourism and historical sites are main attractions of Tay Ninh tourism. Therefore, Tay Ninh will focus on tourism product development tied to festivals, belief, historical sites, cultural works… and also concentrate on development of ecotourism products based on national park ecosystem, countrysides; development of craft village tourism, business tourism…

Tay Ninh Province will prioritize investment for some projects such as Ba Den Mountain; Dau Tieng Lake, Ma Thien Lanh-Ba Den Mountain, Bau Ca Na and Moc Bai ecotourism areas, Lo Go – Xa Mat national park, etc.
