These photos reflect the economic, cultural and social lives, as well as daily routines, of people in the Red River Delta. 141 works were selected for display at the exhibition.

The festival aims to praise the beauty of the homeland and people in the Red River Delta, promote the photographic movement in the region and create conditions for photographers to make public new works.

The organizing board selected 14 works to present awards.

Addressing the opening ceremony, deputy secretary of Hung Yen provincial Party Committee Doan The Cuong affirmed the role and importance of culture, literature and arts in social life. He also congratulated winning artists and hoped that they would have more artistic works to reflect the diversity of socio-economic and cultural life to arts lovers.

The festival will run until October 16th.
